ABOUT THE EVENT

Since this is Rideau Skating Club’s 50th anniversary, we wanted to create a show that expressed the joy of skating. And how better to do that than with a fairytale? Once upon a Blade is set in our beautiful skating kingdom, Rideaulight. But even the brightest kingdoms face moments of challenge.  Axellia, our heroine, must journey through other skating kingdoms to ensure that the joy of skating is not lost for Rideaulight.

• Doors Open: 30 minutes before showtime
• Show Length: Approximately 2 hours
• Who’s Performing: Skaters of all ages and levels

From first-time performers to advanced skaters, this show celebrates the dedication and hard work of our skating community throughout the season. It’s a family-friendly event and a great way to support the club!
