Program Description: Future Stars / STAR Group Session (5 weeks) Jul 8 to Aug 5: 5:00-5:50 pm Fred Barrett arena Cancellations: None The Future Stars Group program is intended for skaters who have achieved CanSkate stage 3 and who want to "fast-track" into figure skating. The STAR Group program is for skaters new to the STAR 1 and STAR 2 level of StarSkate who prefer to have group programming. The 50 minute program consists of: a group warm up, three (3) group lessons (with 3 different coaches), followed by a group challenge and cool down. For Future Stars: The group lesson continue the CanSkate skills development and introduces the skaters to figure skating skills and elements. For STAR Group: The group lessons introduce skaters to 4 disciplines of figure skating - freeskate, ice dance, skating skills and synchronized skating.
