Organizing Send Offs for skaters attending Sectionals, EOSIC and other related competitions.
- Co-ordinate Jackets and or related Rideau Skating Club products for sale to the skaters when applicable.
Answer caller requests for information on the Canskate program (September)
Provide ideas to the Board as to how to improve the Canskate Program
Liaison between the Board and the Canskate members
Contact the Canskate award winners at the end of the year for attendance to the AGM (Annual General Meeting), and prepare certificates for them.
Test Day (usually 3 per season)
Make all the arrangements for Test Day and register all the tests with Skate Canada
Supplying badges/certificates for all successful tests at the AGM (Annual General Meeting)
Arrange for music players for test days
- Maintain an up-to-date list of tests passed by skaters with the assistance of the coaches.
Represent the Coaches at the Board Meetings
Bring Coaches concerns to the Board’s attention
Member of the Exceptions Committee
Organization of seminar by coaches
